Music Therapy Services of Central Wisconsin, LLC has provided quality Music Therapy services throughout Wausau, Marshfield, Stevens Point, and surrounding areas since 1999.  Our research-based, outcome driven approach assists a variety of populations in home and community settings.

Music Therapy Services of Central Wisconsin, LLC strives to improve the quality of life for those who are well in addition to improving the lives of children and adults with disabilities or illnesses.

Music Therapy

Music therapy is an established health profession in which music is used to directly impact the brain to assist with rehabilitative, adaptive, and developmental goal areas.  

Music interventions are used to reach functional, nonmusical goals. Specific treatment techniques are chosen based on clinical and scientific evidence.  Music may be used as an accommodation to improve motor functioning, speech and language skills, and/or cognition. 



Who We Are

All of our therapists are Board Certified (MT-BC) by The Certification Board for Music Therapists and have passed a national certification exam.

In order to maintain our credential MT-BC, we must maintain a minimum of 100 continuing education credits every five years.  

We strive to use the strongest research and evidence available to provide the most effective treatment to our clients.   We work closely with clients and their families to address their functional, nonmusical goals.
